Feeling like a badass today

So I am in between classes right now and I was making the regular rounds on the blogs and I came across what is possibly the new Justice video on Panda Toes. The video is for the song Stress from their most recent album Cross. This song is by far my least favorite song on the album but the video gave it a brand new flavor, and some really great imagery to accompany the song. The video features some hoodlums all wearing the leather jacket that has become synonymous with the French duo, and the group of leather clad trouble makers run around the city causing copious amounts of damage and distress among the innocent citizens. Hence me feeling like a bad-ass today, maybe I'll go steal a car today. (only kidding of course) So here is the video, check it out, I thought it was pretty good.

And to keep with the theme of Justice, here are some tracks of theirs that I have been particularly digging lately. Plus since I just started this blog yesterday I figured I should get my first, very typical, Justice post out of the way and what better time when there is a new video just released.

Justice - DVNO (Surkin Remix)

Klaxons - As Above, So Below (Justice Remix) This is on yousendit.com so it will only be available for a week, but I am going to put it on zshare as soon as the site goes back up.

Also I just checked the moongoons blog while I was trying to figure out where else to upload the file, and I realized that there is a show tomorrow night that sounds like it will be pretty awesome and off the hook. I think I might as well check that out since there is absolutely nothing else poppin' in the metro area that is of much interest to me at all. If there is anyone out there that has come across this blog, you should come and check it out.

Well, I'm writing in this blog from Minneapolis Minnesota and I guess I'm just going to try and give insight in to my life here in this great city. A lot of this will probably have to do with the music that I have been listening to as of late, as well as any other events that I might be going to that are going to be off the chains.

The weather has been getting so much nicer around here, even though it seems like we are weeks behind where we should be in terms of temperature anyway. The past week was shitty and rainy and damn cold, I can't believe that it snowed last Friday during the U of M's "Spring Jam." Either way its 60 degree's out today so it will be nice to get on my bike and enjoy the weather before it starts raining again.

On the music front I have been really digging on the A-Trak remix of Beeper by Count and Sinden. I just can't leave it alone for too long because of my fear that it my disappear off of my hard drive. Its got that drive to it that really brings it for me, and the lead in of the song is fun to use when mixing. I don't think A-Trak can do any wrong on this point, this man I'm sure will continue to drop very large bombs.

Beeper (A-Trak Remix) FIXED - Count and Sinden (zshare)

I guess I shall leave it at that for now, since I don't exactly know what I'm doing quite yet. Maybe I will post some of my own mini mixes at a later date.
